Aims

ReMaDe Kernow is a project aiming to develop local markets for recycled materials, particularly, paper and card, plastics, glass and compostables
Where can we help:

  • Markets: we can help to assess the market potential for new products and materials and arrange necessary market feasibility studies
  • Products: we can help by sourcing or creating necessary product specifications and arranging laboratory trials.
  • Expertise: where we do not have the experience ourselves, we can arrange for appropriate consultancy.
  • Finance: we can help with your business plans and applications for funding.
  • Time: developing new products and markets will be time-consuming and hard work. We can take some of the load, create working partnerships and open doors.
  • Minimising the Risk: by helping to develop markets for new products, we aim to reduce the overall risk of your project.

We are interested to talk to you if:

  • You have an idea for a project that could use substantial amounts of recycled material.
  • You currently use recycled material within your production process and are interested in using more.
  • You do not currently use recycled material, but are interested in hearing about opportunities to do so for one of our priority materials - glass, paper & card, plastics and compostables.
Area We are interested in working with businesses and entrepreneurs who are involved with projects that have the potential to reuse substantial amounts of Cornwall's waste. Preferred projects will use one of our prioritised materials, will generate income and employment for Cornwall's economy and will contribute to the wider sustainable development of Cornwall
