Groundwork Environmental Business Services (Ebs) provides practical advice, training and information on environmental issues to businesses throughout Devon & Cornwall. Set up by the DTI in 1993 as a not for profit organisation, it has provided continuing support to industry with waste minimisation and environmental management programmes.

Additionally there is Ebs support in Somerset, through the Somerset Environmental Business Initiative (SEBI), contactable through Business Link Somerset (08457 211112).

Groundwork is a network of 42 charitable trusts across the country, and has access to ERIC- The Environmental Resource Information Centre.
